Wayward is a London-based landscape, art and architecture practice – an award-winning collective of designers, artists and urban growers. Since 2006, Wayward has pioneered new methodologies in the creative use of underutilised land and meanwhile spaces, transforming derelict sites into large-scale, design-driven spaces that engage local communities and inspire international audiences.
I was commissioned to re-brand the company and develop their online presence. I worked very closely with Wayward for many months (even contributing to some of their ongoing architectural projects) in order to properly understand their mission and ethos. The closeness to the company helped my channel many of their fun and playful aspects that were sorely lacking from their prior public promotions.
